You will be scaling at least four mountains of over eight thousand meters—Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), and Cho Oyu (8,201m)—in this scenic heli tour of nearly 3.5 hours.

This exciting chopper trip to the Himalayas begins from the domestic airport terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). We will drive you to the airport early in the morning and onboard you.

As per this itinerary, primarily, you will be witnessing mountains of Mahalangur range. The birds-eye view of gorgeous mountains will spellbind you. It is simply majestic!

This ecstatic chopper ride will also present you with an opportunity to have breakfast at an altitude of 4,250m in Kongde and this is a key feature of this itinerary.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Namaste and welcome to the capital of Nepal—Kathmandu!

Our representative will greet you warmly at TIA and drive to the designated hotel. This is going to be an orientation day for us as we will be meeting each other face-to-face.

Day 02: Heli flight to Kongde/Back to Kathmandu

Here comes the much-awaited day of our itinerary. Excited? Obviously, yes.

Well, we will drop you at the domestic terminal in TIA from where you will catch a helicopter to the Khumbu region. 

Today’s Highlights

  • Observe more than 100 peaks (major and minor peaks) of the Khumbu region. Major peaks are over 7,000m whereas, minor are peaks over 5,000m and below 7,000m
  • Get a close view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu from Kongde
  • Breakfast in Kongde witnessing towering mountains in the front

Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today, we will lead you to key four UNESCO listed World Cultural Heritage Sites located in this culturally rich city, Kathmandu. Keeping your comfort at the center, we will hire a private vehicle for you. Additionally, we will also assign an experienced and certified tour guide for today.

Today’s Highlights

  • Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square
  • Drive to Pashupatinath Temple—the greatest Hindu shrine where Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of ‘Linga’
  • Pave the way to Bouddhanath—the largest stupa in South Asia
  • Ride to Swoyambhunath—like Bouddhanath, Buddhists’ key pilgrimage site

Day 04: Back to your destination

Well, it’s time to say goodbye until we meet again.
