Life has evolved. It has changed as a diverse array of creeds, ideologies, covenants, and faith. Despite our belief in particular culture and traditions, the system of faith drives us toward the religious course, which is founded on the ground of the supreme consciousness. The point at which we are rinsed from all beliefs and dogmas, we will be connected with the state of supreme consciousness. This state is called Mokshya, which means freedom from the cycle of death and rebirth.
Mukti is the root word for the word Mokshya, which means freedom, and nath, which means God. Thus, Mokshya is freedom from self- knowledge and self-realization.
Located at an altitude of nearly 3,800m—Muktinath is a sacred temple for both Hindus and Buddhists. It has an important significance for both religions. The temple of Muktinath is equally important for the Tibetan Buddhists as it is for Hindus residing in Nepal and India.
Both Hinduism and Buddhism have a holy spot at an altitude of 3,800 meters above the sea level committed to the meditation purpose, in the name of Muktinath. The temple of Chumig Gyatsa follows the ancient Tibetan rituals where Lord Vishnu is worshipped. The message got from the worship of Lord Vishnu is that incomparable cognizance is accomplished by following spiritual connection, veneration, and bondage.
As per Buddhism, Muktinath is the home of the goddesses known as Sky Dancers and 21 female gods—just like the beginning of one of the 24 Tantric spots. The statue is believed to be a manifestation of Avalokitesvara, who embodies the empathetic characteristics of all Buddhas.
