The region is so gorgeous that it will immerse you in its natural beauty and Khopra Trek in this regard will offer you everything it has to balance your life.

Khopra Trek or Khopra Danda (Hill) Trek is relatively a new trail but with its awe-inspiring beauty, the site has been attracting an impressive number of people across the globe. Being up closer to the mountains and greenery of the place will present you with a lifetime memory to treasure.

While on this trek, you will get panoramic views of renowned mountains located in Annapurna Region such as Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Nilgiri, Himchuli, Tent Peak and Gandarvachuli.

From the perspective of culture and traditions, the site will offer you a chance to learn unique Gurung and Magar culture. Both—Gurung and Magar—are an ethnic group of Nepal.

The tradition of drinking yak blood in Khopra on the day of the full moon in August is a typical feature of this trek. Hey, don’t panic! People here do not slay yak for this rather they puncture Yak’s vein to collect blood and drink it. It is a belief that drinking yak blood on this day will cure several human diseases because yaks here graze a number of herbals. Isn’t it exciting? Yes, it is.
